I haven't pressed the blocks from yesterday or Sunday yet. I know I'll have the iron on today so I'll press them and show all 28 blocks together tomorrow. I need to cut some more solid rectangles in darker colors before I sew any more blocks.
As I'm writing this we are expecting storms to roll through all night and rain most of the day today. Our area is predicted to get over and inch and a half of rain. I hope we exceed that.
We’ve had over an inch already in SW Michigan. Think it’s the same system as you so hoping you get your fair share😊
ReplyDeleteThe blocks are coming along and are so fun! Those Kaffe fabrics are gorgeous! So many interesting prints! I got 2.9" of rain yesterday! No more in the forecast for here until next Sunday.
ReplyDeleteare you to get the cold weather that so many are getting - I didn't watch the news real close after I saw it was missing us entirely and we are to stay in the 80's
ReplyDeleteWhat a great collection of novelty prints!
ReplyDeletePigeons in the city - what a great print! Enjoy the rain - hope it doesn’t storm too much along with the rain though.
ReplyDeleteThese fabrics are so cute!! In SE Michigan we had several hours of torrential rain this morning, and more expected later today. A good day to sew!
ReplyDeleteSuch fun blocks, Wanda! I'm looking forward to seeing your collection on the design wall.
ReplyDeleteHope those storms aren't too bad there;000
