I had been concentrating on more masculine masks for awhile and had a request for some feminine ones. I spent a large part of the afternoon outside mowing the back yard and digging out weeds where my tomato plants need to go. When I came in I got busy on these.
The photo above is one side of the masks and this photo is the other side of the same 7 masks.
Lovely Wanda. I thought that my mask-making days might be behind me but there's been a request from another senior's home, so I guess I'll get busy this weekend to help out. It will be nice when we can all move beyond this, won't it?
I think batiks make the prettiest masks. I need to find a place to order some more elastic. The ones I kept for myself have ties and I can't wear a mask with ties to get my hair cut!
The fabric is very beautiful. You do a great job.

ReplyDeleteThe masks you make are SEW gorgeous, Wanda! What a wonderful fabric stash you have developed over the years.
ReplyDeletePretty masks!
