I'm slowly ditch quilting the zipper quilt but for a change of pace I decided to quilt my Australian fabric Valentine quilt on the longarm and have it done by Valentine's day.
Since so many of the fabrics have dots and circles on them I decided to do loops for the quilting.
My loops are organic, many different sizes and shapes - definitely done by a human being, not a computer. I'll choose binding fabric today.
I love the Australian fabric designs, especially the ones with lots of dots. I've seen video's of people painting pictures - very relaxing to watch haha
ReplyDeleteVery wet & windy here the last 2 days as storm Ciara blows through. We are off to Nottingham & Newark for 3 days on Wednesday so hopefully the weather is better by then :)
Love your quilts & your organic quilting. I quilt organically & love it! As always everything you do is lovely.
ReplyDeleteThe Australian fabrics bring something special--glad to see you show how wonderful they can be.
ReplyDeleteThis quilt is turning out so beautiful. It is bigger than I thought it was too. The quilting looks so good.
ReplyDeleteMy "Go To" allover quilting pattern for a fast finish, Wanda. Human made loops are SEW much fun!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fabrics in this triangle fiesta!;)) I have always loved the look of this quilt pattern from the time I saw Jinny Beyer's...yours is lovely hugs, Julierose
ReplyDeleteAs always your daily progress is beyond any average person, I know. Especially at "our age" your energy level is amazing. I'm looking forward to seeing your hearts all finished. Loved it before the quilting and your loops are the frosting on the cake.

You are making great progress this month!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great valentines quilt because it is not syrupy or sappy. The colors almost remind me of a box of fancy chocolates in a fancy box.
