I was determined to get the last 5 rows of quilting (100 minutes) done yesterday on the zipper quilt, and I did it!! I also got all of the basting stitches pulled out. Now I need to choose binding and make the decision whether I will hand or machine finish it.
I wanted to finish the 4 postage stamp blocks that were partially done and did that too. I didn't get the cutting done that I planned but I will do that today.
Holy cats! You really got a lot done. The zipper quilt looks great and I can't wait to see the postage stamp blocks when they are all put together.
ReplyDeleteYou had a good day yesterday!
ReplyDeleteGood morning Wanda. You always manage to accomplish a lot every day, though maybe not everything you want to get done. but with every birthday that comes around, it seems we are not able to get done what our brain tells us we want to do. Love all the colors in the zipper quilt, and look forward to seeing it quilted. Enjoy this bright sunny day!
ReplyDeleteWOW lot of working hours on these--those PS blocks are just gorgeous...(I would name it "P.S. I Love You" ;))) )
ReplyDeleteyou are such an inspiring quilter; thanks for sharing hugs, Julierose
Good to know you left some cutting for today, what you accomplished yesterday was more than most of us could do. How you keep going day after day on your projects is why we check in every day. (^._.^)
