Found it!.........

Last week I showed 5 pieces for another OBW block and I had lost the 6th piece.  I found it last night and got the last block pieced.  Now I can go to the design wall with all of the blocks.  I also finished a dishcloth last night while watching TV.
We are getting to the end of the blooming season for the Christmas cacti.  This is the last bloom on my old faithful pink plant that bloomed 3 times this winter.

This good size cactus usually blooms in January but all I got this year was this one bud which I hope is going to open.  It is a red one.

The last date to sign up for my online Colorwash 360 class is next Sunday, April 7.  For more about the class, go to Saturday's post.  Registration is going well and we still have some kits left for the students to purchase however it is a very limited quantity.

  1. I wondered the other day if you ever found that last piece - looking forward to seeing another fabulous finish. You did well with your pink cactus; I'm not sure if I will buy another one. I want to spend time on my outdoor wall planters this year - I missed the colourful displays last year so that gives me an incentive to do it. Hope you get some good sunny warm weather soon :)

  2. Oh yeah. Bet you looked high and low for that piece.

  3. Due to floor refinishing and repainting of the family room, dining area and kitchen, all my plants are shoved in my sewing studio or bedrooms. A few cactus are blooming. Glad you found your piece. Nothing is as maddening as trying to find something that should not be gone in the first place.

  5. Now how did you happen to finish your green variegated dish cloth and it matches the green in your OBW block too ! (^._.^)

I've got a C Catus one blossom wonder ready to blossom also.

  6. My cacti just drooped and sagged and didn't bloom this year...;000
I cut one back and fed it and am hoping for some new resurgent growth...
Glad you finally found your block pieces--doesn't that just drive you crazy...
