This is the view from my sewing chair in my main floor studio. I started this one up too high so I have to roll my chair over there and move it all down to the lowest spot it can go. I am using rectangles 2" x 4" finished size (2.5" x 4.5") of regular printed quilting fabric (no batik).
This is my current kitchen garden. One of them is a geranium that I saved from an outdoor pot. It is pretty small and frail right now.
Here are the 2 buds peeking out of my next Amaryllis. Hopefully they will be Christmas blooms.
The flowers are so pretty. Do you keep your amaryllis bulbs from year to year? I didn't know if there was a way to do that or not.
ReplyDeleteYour new QIP looks lovely...a beautiful effect...

The rectangles intrigue me -- I want to try a color burst and I may incorporate both ideas into one. Not right away but one day.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing another of your creations in the works. And how you are maneuvering to work on it . (*._.*).
ReplyDeleteYour kitchen blossoms are so pretty. and festive ..... and it's that time of year again seems so soon.
As you know I had an earlier cactus blossom..... Those additional buds dried up and didn't blossom out for me. So sad ....any hints as to what I might have done ?

Now that looks interesting using the rectangles and regular printing fabric, lovely greens and blues at this stage.
ReplyDeleteI don't recall seeing you use rectangles before. LOVE where this is going!!
