Jerry is one of the art quilters and he brought his winning Blooming 9 patch quilt yesterday. The people that come to their quilt show vote on the quilts and all of the ribbons are awarded at the end. It is a red ribbon but it says first place on it. The quilt is all Kaffe Fassett fabrics.
Wow, what a fabulous quilt Jerry, and I love looking at it. I enlarged it to the max, so I see it more closely, and it is just gorgeous. You should be very proud of this accomplishment, and to receive a 1st. place, should put the cherry on top. Wanda has previously posted some of your work, which I thought was wonderful, but this one takes the cake. Hope Wanda let you have all the leftover cookies. lol
Thank you for sharing Jerry's quilt! That is amazing. I have no idea how one makes a Blooming 9 patch...but his looks organic, as if a real flower garden were growing. Please thank him for sharing, too. And thank you for adding a spot of color to my mornings! I love knowing you are out there creating, whether with cookies, cacti or quilts!
OMG ! Absolutely GLORIOUS ! Jerry has an awesome creative talent. I was hoping you'd show some if your "Art Quilters" work. 'standing ovation for Jerry, a true Art Quilter !
