The art quilters group is coming Monday so I have been on clean up duty since yesterday. Today's job is to clean off the cutting tables. This is the first one.
Here is the second one with piles that transferred over from the long arm table when I quilted the 2 quilts a few days ago. The vacuuming is almost done so I have made progress.
I will mix up the 2 batches of cookie dough and put them in the refrigerator today too.
I love a good sewing studio tidy up it's a wonderful feeling once it's done 👌💖
ReplyDeleteIsn't it so satisfying to get it all in order, but then, for some reason, all that clutter just keeps coming back? Have fun with your art quilters.
ReplyDeleteThis always sounds like such a fun get together, particularly the fresh cookies!
ReplyDeleteMy table is about 1/3 the size of yours but it gets messy too. Went in early today and straightened it up. I hate to think what it would look like if I had more room.
ReplyDeleteOh Wanda you made my day, showing us your work tables that needed to be cleared for your art quilters. I've always seen ypur entire house immaculate and to see a bit of clutter on your work tables just warmed my heart. (*._.*) I know by the time you read this your tables will be ready for your group on Monday.

I do hope that you do a better job of clearing away than I do. I would put things away in a special spot and then forget where that spot is, LOL.
ReplyDeleteHave fun with your quilting group.
Connie :)
One thing about regularly hosting get-togethers, like your art quilters, is you can't avoid the cleaning. I need to just pick up more frequently. LOL
