I wanted to get some more of this golden-orange fabric in the Marcia Derse fabric star quilt and also the print with the orange lines. The dark small triangles are purple even though they may look like navy here.
There is one more space to fill in and I want more orange in the quilt. I may need to take out the block that is mostly red-purple and pink and put orange or coral in 2 more blocks.
I went back and looked at your 1990 star quilt. You have done it again, taking this pattern and designing it again with 2018 fabrics. What a difference in the two. Anxious to see what new blocks or block you add to this one.
Another pretty block!
ReplyDeleteWaiting to see if my favourite block makes it to the final as you have some beauties vying for position :)
ReplyDelete55f - 13c here today, even though the sun is shining - almost thermal time.
I agree with your instinct regarding "more orange".
ReplyDeleteAND I continue to be intrigued by these blocks, far far away from my original reaction.
There are twelve blocks: I wonder if this would make a reasonable BOM (block of the month) project?
This is my favorite one; love the color combinations
ReplyDeleteIt's looking so nice.
ReplyDeleteEvery time you post a new block, I think - well, that’s my favorite. And, then the very next day, no THAT’s my favorite. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite!
