I added a little gold in now as a light color. Using 3 different blues gave a little more zip to the block.
I have been laying out my blocks in the basement on my ironing table but I have the finished blocks upstairs on the design wall. I need to design the rest while I look at the ones I made so I can get an even distribution of colors and fabrics.
I think that block #5 needs to be corrected. The other blocks are either dark or light all around the edges, but this one is mixed because of those triangles being switched. The more blocks you add, the more the error shows.
WOW BLOCK NO. 8 ! It is my favorite so far . Fabric choice perfection for me. Great post today, makes me forget about the gray sky with snow on the mountain tops.
Very pretty block. Your touch of color sure makes a difference.

I think this is my favorite color combination! Nice job.
ReplyDeleteIt reminds me of sunshine! A very pretty block - as are they all - but this one's my favourite.
