I couldn't get Picasa3 where I make my collages to cooperate with me last night so I'll do my April recap tomorrow.
Last night I was out of energy so I decided to just play with fabric. I want to make a Kaffe Trip Around the World quilt for my bed so I started pulling some fabrics that I might want in it.
I added to them to get 16 fabrics but I don't think this will be my final decision. I will play with it over several days until I'm happy with the selection.
I am glad you are making a quilt for yourself. Won't it be fun every night to see that colorful quilt on your bed. Those fabrics a fabulous!
ReplyDeleteLovely fabrics, they will make a lovely quilt!
ReplyDeleteThat collection will make a delightfully vibrant quilt.
ReplyDeleteThat first photo makes my heart sing.
ReplyDeleteI have just received (in the mail) a package that contains a quilt top that was made by my sister-in-law's grandmother, maybe as long as a hundred years ago) I will be trying to find the perfect fabric for backing and binding. I hope that I do it justice. I told her that I would hand-quilt it, after all it is very old and I'm sure that is what her grandmother would have done, if she would have finished it herself. Sometimes finding the perfect fabric is not easy, especially when you're doing it for someone else:)
ReplyDeleteYour quilts are always gorgeous and so colorful . . . you have an eye.
Happy quilting!
Connie :)
You are off to an excellent start. And it's fun to do your dreaming first, especially with your stash of fabrics.
