I hope this is the last snow photo I will be showing this spring. This is from yesterday morning. It all melted by 11 a.m. and we got up to the low 50s by afternoon.
We made blueberry scones for breakfast and have enough left for this morning too. Today should be sunny and around 50 again and tomorrow even a little warmer. It is about time!
Wow, more snow; let's hope it's your last; hope you start having warmer weather from now on. I hope it's not affected your plants growth. Some of my Daffs are still in flower & everything else seems to be coming to life - only time will tell. Those scones look delish :)
I've been so depressed lately - we've had more snow this month that we did in Feb or March - its time for spring! Thankfully the temperatures are forecast for a nice upward trend starting today so hopefully that's it for the white stuff. Your scones look delicious - interesting pan.
Would love to sit down and have a scone and a cup of coffee with you! And commiserate the cold weather. Hopefully, next week will be different. Today the sun actually came out. Hope you get some sewing done with the company.
Next week should be different for you. As the weather pattern moves from the west to the east .... you should be getting our last two warm sunny days of 60 and 70 degree days, they are on the way (*._.*).
Oh those scones look so yummy!! Hey Wanda of the deep, deep, stash! You were so good to help me find some fabric the last time I was on the hunt for something. I was wondering if you could check out my latest blog post and see if you might have, or know of someone else who might have what I am looking for. I'm seeking an old fashioned purple floral, preferably with roses. You can see examples of the type I'm looking for in the post Sweet Dreams.
snow, low 50's so it's still a bit cold outside. Are you ever tempted to get a photo of a quilt on the snow?

ReplyDeleteI remember 1969 and having a huge snowfall around April 30th. Everything closed down. It’s very cold this morning in Paducah.

ReplyDeleteThose scones look delicious. I have been promised that we are done with snow until November! Let's see if the weatherman keeps his promise.
ReplyDeleteWe were in the mid 30s overnight again but this should be one of the last times. I hear you for being glad your snow is nearly done!
