I decided that before I make any more blocks I needed to check out all of the ones I had made so far. I can see I have enough with light fabric in them and need more low contrast blocks.
I looked through my Philip Jacobs large flower fabrics and decided to cut this orange background fabric with lots of pink flowers, both light and dark pink. I need to make a lot more red, pink, and orange 16 patch blocks. I think each large flower block needs 4 red/pink/orange 16 patch blocks touching it.
Just today, tomorrow and Sunday and the pop-up shop closes.
Real pretty as usual. Everything you do is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteSuch a happy quilt top! That floral blends in really well with the other fabrics. Have a lovey Easter!
ReplyDeleteThe big block florals look terrific with the other blocks. What a great idea.
ReplyDeleteI enlarged the picture and that floral fabric is really pretty.
ReplyDeleteI do like that large print in there. I always hate to cut into my Phillip Jacobs fabrics because they are so beautiful as is.
ReplyDeleteBlossom blocks and and 16 patches, what a fun piece to be working on. Love the way the blossoms are nestled into your 16 patches.
