I was gone all morning yesterday and when I got home I needed to bake a requested treat for a family member. Late in the day I got some 3" strips cut to make a couple more 16 patch blocks.
These are the bonus 4 patches made with the remainder of the strips. Three of these fabrics are older Kaffe's and the wild one is a newer one.
There are still some batik fabric packs left in my pop-up shop as well as other items. The shop will close midnight EST Sunday.
I will be baking a treat for Easter for one of my brothers. I am going to his house for Easter and he love pecan pie. I make my own crust and the recipe has been passed from my grandmother to my mother to me.
ReplyDeleteYour blocks are so pretty and vibrant! I had to laugh when you said "wild one" to describe the newer print. I would have no idea which one was the wild one as they all are pretty wild! LOL!!
I’m with Patty, I don’t know which is wild.
ReplyDeleteI love hw the larger prints add such interest to the blocks.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blocks Wanda... Just love the rich rusty brown pieces, and cooling them off with your misty greens, plus adding warmth with your yellows. You always can see combinations that the rest of us can't.
