I made 14 new blocks and then sewed the duplicate blocks of the 15 blocks I showed yesterday. I need to make 2 more combinations for 4 more blocks. The bottom 4 rows are the same as the top 4 rows except reversed from right to left.
I pulled these possibilities for the last two combinations.
Last night was the last of double digits below zero for us. It is supposed to get up in the 40s on Wednesday and Thursday. We haven't seen warmth like that for a long time.
Love how this quilt is coming out.
ReplyDeleteThe colors and values are what I see outside my winter window- the bark, branches, grasses, rocks, and shadows on the snow. It is a quiet, but strong effect.
ReplyDeleteUse them all and maybe toss in one block in brights and pale whites for pop! Don’t know if that would work or not but could be fun.
ReplyDeleteI like Linda's take on your quilt... I also see the trendy look of the aluminum household decor right now. What ever what every one else sees when they see this piece, it is fascinating.

Beautiful!! I like how you reversed the bottom four rows - a very simple way to mix them up - and very effective - ;))
ReplyDeleteI like how you have that little bit of pink coming in.
