Planning......

While cleaning off tables in the basement I laid out 3 more Bento Box blocks.  Then I picked up all of the loose pieces so I could finish cleaning that table.
My daughter sent me a Selfie Stick to take photos of myself while creating my art.  There is a learning curve using it, trying to hold it steady when pressing the button.  The light is behind me here, not ideal but I have to keep practicing so I can take some in progress quilt shots with me in them.

I baked one batch of cookies last night and will do the other batch tonight after my workshop.

  1. What a lovely photo of you. I like your shirt/blouse - the only style I wear with a collar, buttoned front and tabs to keep the sleeves rolled up - we both have great taste :)

  3. I have thought of getting one of those sticks for use at home - but you should see what some people do with them at the national parks we go to - they are paying more attention to getting photos of themselves with a wild animal in the background and not of how close that animal is getting to them! In some areas they are banning the use of selfie sticks :) for safety -- crazy - but using in a home or when you know exactly what is in back of you sounds great!

  5. I'll bet there is a learning curve there - lighting, angle, buttons, etc., but it will be fun once you start using it.

    Those bentos are great.

  14. Looking good Wanda, both you and the cookies, and I can't wait to see more selfies as you teach and share your years of knowledge with us.
Since I'm late in reading this, it is already Monday and the cooler weather is here for a few days, and I couldn't be happier.
