The art quilters came yesterday, we had a great time and ate lots of cookies.
Last night I sewed on this Strips that Sizzle quilt. I have one more row to add on.
It turned colder and rained in the early evening. I was hoping to do some planting today but it sounds like off and on rain for a couple days. That means more sewing time.
Thanks everyone for your comments yesterday about my Mother's day gift red door. I know it will make me smile every time I look at it.
Cookies, quilts, fabrics, quilters- what more could a body ask for? Love the quilt- It feels like spring!
ReplyDeleteLove your new quilt ! So bright amid all this rain and gloomy skies down here in southern Il. Just came home from Maine and we were wearing heavy jackets before boarding the plane and they had rain quite a bit there too. Can't escape rain in spring anywhere.
ReplyDeletelove that pink and green together - the problem with cookies is trying to eat just one and not 6!! After the rain yesterday we are in for two days in the high 80's which I think might mean high humidity!
ReplyDeleteThat quilt is just plain fun. I have been meaning to try out some new cookie recipes, but I just haven't had time.
ReplyDeleteI love those watermelon colors!
ReplyDeleteWhat a glorious combination of colors!
ReplyDeleteI am imagining summer days and tasty watermelon! It looks wonderful in those colors.
