Tablecloth debut...........

My new quilted tablecloth looks great turned diagonally on the table.

Now I think I need to make some more accessories for the kitchen from the same fabric line that I used on the border.

It will look great flipped over too with that big polka dot print on the back facing up.

My two friends came over yesterday to sew and I worked on Triangles #2.  I made the last 2 sections and then got it all sewn together.  It measures 49.5" x 70" right now.  Here is the previous post with the drawing that I worked from.

Thank you to all that took time to comment yesterday.  I enjoyed all of the comments and the voting for your choice of orientation of my little wallhanging.  I'm still undecided but it will be #2 or #3 and I'm leaning toward #3.  The overwhelming choice from my readers was #2 with #3 in second place.  I could revise my thoughts about the quilting and put a hanging sleeve on both top and bottom and then it could be displayed as #2 or #3.

  2. Great finish on the table cloth.....it looks so good like that.
I missed the post yesterday for some reason.....#3 is it for me.
Triangles look awesome....love how the colors dance across it. Then I look close and discover those tiny pairs placed just so to fill in. such a delight!

  3. This triangle quilt just gets better and better each time I see it. I'm curious what you used in the middle of your quilt sandwich for your tablecloth. I've been contemplating making one for our table, but have been trying to decide what won't make it to fluffy or bumpy so I don't worry about a glass being set down wrong and tipping over. Thanks in advance for any thoughts you might have to share.

  6. I really love these two quilts. Your kitchen is going to be so bright, and I agree, add more of something from the tablecloth. I didn't vote yesterday as I just couldn't make up my mind between the designs and you had so many people voting. Glad you narrowed it down.

  15. Great tablecloth! And the triangles are wonderful! I'd never have the patience to piece that many triangles, but they do give a wonderful picture. I really should make myself do more with them.
