A couple days ago I put the layers together for 2 table runners so yesterday I quilted them. Today I will trim them and choose bindings. The double 4 patch blocks are leftovers from 2 or 3 quilts that I made in the past.
I also started a colorwash with the little 2" x 3.5" rectangles. I have only cut a small variety of them so far. I hope to get some more cut today so I can continue on this. I am missing most of the medium colors that I need next.
Love the colorwash. I am still dinking around with mine.Your colors are so clear and crisp.
ReplyDeleteThe fabrics in this color wash are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine you missing anything from your stash of fabric ;-)
ReplyDeleteA beautiful colours wash - so bright and fresh looking.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, the color wash quilt is going to be beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWe had a Cooper's Hawk visiting our house quite regularly in Woodstock for a while. The smaller birds were on to him and hid in the bushes, but one day he went right through the snow and in after them. It was real life National Geographic, exactly why we enjoyed living out there for a while! We also saw fox, coyotes and one year had twin baby deer running around in the back. And we had a wild cat who quite enjoyed our yard. We may have been keeping him fed also with our feeders. I guess you develop quite an ecosystem when you feed the birds.
