Students' work.............

The students did a great job on their colorwash pieces in my class.

They all used 2.5" squares.

They are all much richer looking in person.  The camera wants to focus on the light area as if it is a face instead of focusing on the whole thing.

  1. Good work by all your students - I bet they had smiles of their faces at the end of the day and looking forward to seeing the end result.

  3. This is the most fun I have ever had in a guilt class. Learning from someone with such an eye for color was a real treat.

  5. Your students did a great job! I especially like the last piece with the light area in a band doing from upper right to lower left.

  6. I swear...If I lived within a 100 miles of you I would so take your color wash class. I love how you make it so striking and gradual at the same time. Make that 200 miles!

  8. The colorwash quilts are gorgeous. How do I find out when the classes are? Are there any motels (I live in Chicago). Thank you! I enjoy your blog.

  10. WHOA WANDA!! I just watched your daughter's Restoration Wild show. What an AWESOME retreat they built. Such a gorgeous setting and your daughter's mosaic was GORGEOUS!! Her talent comes from her mama! I saw a couple of quick snips of you in there at the end. Your daughter really looks like you. That hot tub is going to be so cool!!!
