Still sorting.......

The first thing I did with the sorting was to pull all of the positive/negative pairs.  I put the spools in there for your color fix.

Then I made piles of other groups like this one of letters and numbers.

This shelf is all dots and circles.

This group is all stripes and other geometric prints.  There is a lot of miscellaneous too.

  1. what fun. I love your quilts and have long wondered about your stash and how your store/organize it.
I have been collecting black and white prints, have some of my favorites on the barrister bookshelves in my sewing room and the rest in a bin. Wish I had more visual storage-- would be easier to find what I wanted to use...

    enjoy your blog every morning..

  5. My problem when I start this type of sort to "arrange" the stash is I start getting all sorts of ideas and glimmers and the next thing you know I am no longer sorting and stacking...

  6. My one granddaughter plays the flute and when I made her quilt, it was full of all black and white musical instruments. So I have tons of left overs.

  12. I'm a black/white hoarder, so I love seeing this! Mine are all folded nicely in a consistent size...but man, the patterns are in complete chaos. You've inspired me to try to put some sort of order to the hoard!
