I put the block that was folded in quarters up on the design wall so I knew how to design the corner quarter blocks.
I also made 3 more half blocks and put them all up on the design wall. I need to cut more squares before I can design the last two half blocks. Then I have to start sewing sashing onto the blocks.
Good morning Wanda....It's really beautiful and that creative mind of yours just keeps popping out works of art like firecrackers on the 4th. of July! Had my first cataract surgery on Thursday and should have the second one in about 3 to 4 weeks. Have a good weekend.
I think it would be wonderful if you would just leave the points on those half squares! What an interesting edge treatment that would make....would it be too much work to do that? Maybe use the no-show kind of binding that you used on the quilt you recently hung in your living room?
Always inspirational Wanda! your colours and quilts always brighten my day, thanks for your continuing blog.
ReplyDeleteI've loved watching the progress of this quilt and how you work out your next steps - enjoy the rest of your weekend :)

ReplyDeleteI would never have thought to put those blocks on point but I love the look.
