Colorwash............

It was cloudy most of the day yesterday so it stayed cool enough to mow the grass and pull some weeds.  The humidity is still high.

Last night I finished cutting pieces for this little Kaffe colorwash.  I did get it sewn together after I took this photo but I haven't pressed it yet.

  1. Wasn't cool here. I sewed a few more rail fence batiks from Cultural Fusions. Had the grandkids over and took them to the farmer's market. Love this time of the year at the market. Too hot still.Everything is withering up. Colorwash is so refreshing!

  3. Hi
I love what you are doing with the Kaffe Fassett fabrics - you must have a huge stash of those.
I have some and am hoping to use some of your inspiration to get something interesting done with what I have. I don't have nearly as many as you though.
I look forward to your emails for my jolt of creativity every day.
    Thanks
    Beth

  5. This turned out very pretty. We're expecting 100 degrees today plus high humidity. I think it will be another stay indoors day.

  6. Enjoyed going back and visiting your pasts posts... I have gotten out of the habit of checking on you daily with my summer on the phone or traveling to see my sister. Loved your 'blue crazy' blocks and designs. The triangles were super, and OMG your August recap, is as always a breathtaking piece. And loved seeing you along with the piece. That is huge. And it made me smile to see your 1955 4-H project... where has all those years gone ?
