Third finish for February........

I finally looked for binding for this flannel quilt and chose a dull red plaid flannel.  It is lightweight so it worked fine for a double binding.  I am going to settle for just 3 finishes for February.  I need to clean the basement for another class and I don't feel like rushing to finish another quilt.  This one is 56" x 75.5".

You can see the camera is confused somewhere here.  With the black background backing exposed the quilt has a pinker cast.  The real color is half way between these 2 photos.

Here is a closer look at the binding.  It looks like a stripe but is really a plaid.

Last night I sewed a strata for a couch size TAW.  I was going to do another zig zag but I need to plan the fabric order differently for it.

  1. Looks like you made good progress. I hopefully can get back to a more normal schedule here. I have so many things that need finishing also. Chris

  2. I think that three quilt finishes in a short month (like February) is doing quite well. So pat yourself on the back and clean for that class with joy!

  7. It is definitely flannel quilt weather - even here - and that one is so pretty! I like the backing, too.
