Blue sky.......
We had a full day of sunshine after the blizzard. This is looking out my window toward my backyard neighbors' house. My bird feeder still has a beehive hairdo. I spent time shoveling the porch, sidewalk, and part of the driveway yesterday. The snowplow guy packs the snow down as he drives over it while plowing and those tracks are icy. The sunshine helped the ice melter to work even though it was only 10 degrees for much of the day. Since my driveway is 3 cars wide and 3 cars long, it is not a small task. I didn't do any sewing, just did sorting and planning.
It was beautiful outside yesterday with the sun glistening on the snow. Sparkles everywhere. Fortunately I don't have to shovel the snow as my son has it plowed for me. I guess more snow for today. Can't wait for spring!!!!
ReplyDeleteMaybe here in Jersey we will get the sunshine you enjoyed yesterday. Yesterday for us was 14 inches of powdery fluffy snow. Love my John Deere snow blower (almost as much a my sewing machine)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous sky, but I'm certainly glad I don't have to shovel snow.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo!!
ReplyDeletethat is a lot of driveway to take care of - I can see why there is no sewing photos today
ReplyDeleteThe sun is shining here this morning although it is only 8 degrees. I shoveled a bit yesterday when I got to the house after work, but there wasn't much to shovel even though it had snowed lightly all day. Every thing is cover with ice and packed snow here too. I don't think it will be going away any time soon unfortunately!
ReplyDeleteFor those of us with sunshine and warmer temperatures, it looks like a peaceful, beautiful postcard there. I know it isn't!
ReplyDeleteOh, Wanda, all that shoveling! Don't you ever dream about a place without shoveling?
ReplyDeleteLooks very beautiful. I know what a hudge shoveling you have had and I really know that it can be very heavy.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!! I love those crisp, sunny days after a blizzard.
ReplyDeleteSnow is so beautiful, but it's such a mess, too! My driveway is 1/2 mile long, so I'm mercifully exempted from shoveling. It's just too much! On the other hand, if it snows too much, I'm just stuck!
ReplyDeleteFortunately, where I live, that's rarely the case!
