August recap............

I had four finishes for August.  The two large ones only needed binding.  I finished one quilt top and was so close to finishing a second one.

Only one dishcloth was finished, one not quite half done.

Here is a larger photo of the two spin wallhangings.  They ended up at about 40.25" square.

  5. It's nice to see what you completed in a month. I also am attempting to knit a pile of dish cloths. The last one I started is in the basket-weave pattern, and that is slow-going for me. I have not worked on it in ages. I must get cracking!

  10. You must have SO MANY quilts at your house. Do you keep track of the number of quilts you have? How do you store them all?
Just curious, but how do you insure them? I'm just asking because some friends just lost their house - and everything they owned, fortunately they weren't at home - to a house fire. As we know, most things can be replaced, but not so with your unique quilts.

  13. Dear Gloria,
you are making wonderful quilts and I love your colorcombinations. I just wonder if you are selling your quilts or are they piling up in a storage room? Here in Switzerland there isn't a big market for selling selfmade quilts. How about in USA?
    Happy quilting
