Flipping blocks...........

I turned the blocks a half turn to change the top row.  Now I have to decide if I like the first dark zig on the left with its point cut off.  I can flip blocks around again and make it whole.  I have 2 friends coming over today to help me evaluate it.
Now there are two blooms on the orange cactus and a dozen more buds.

We had a little snow during the day yesterday and then last night at 11 p.m. the temperature was above freezing for the first time in 5 days.

  1. We have dense fog because it is warmer. The cactus are so delicate.

  2. when I first saw your new arrangement, I thought Oh no! I like the old one best but it has grown on me, and will await what happens next, we all should know by now, you come up with the BEST. It has inspired me to start cutting,

  3. I think it looks great any way you lay it out Wanda. So just make yourself happy.

When I read the title my mind thought it was a "complaint" about difficult blocks. Then I said, no, not Wanda.

  4. I like it even with the point cut off but I'm sure with you playing with it you will determine what is best for what you like. Above freezing today and traffic is moving on the road - I'm getting out and going to quilt group this morning.

  5. well in this version you only have one point lost, while in version #2 you lost two. But I like best version #1 which had smaller zigs.....the left side on that was a nice solid line of several big triangles. Aren't you lucky to have so many of us looking over your shoulder in the studio????

  10. I like the large zig zag too. Isn't it fun to play with?

I'm so glad to hear you are back in the positive numbers. Thank goodness the beautiful cactus doesn't have to live outside.
