I decided that if the other quilt is going to be called "Zinnia Garden" that this one needs to be named "Peony Garden". I finally got it all sewn together and today I'll look for the backing. I have several pieces of pink prints large enough for backing.
I made 2 more blocks for the "Zinnia Garden" so I have 6 blocks to go.
I love the colors, especially with the pinks coming through. It's a flower field, a watermelon, an underwater scene- it brings up so many images in my mind.
I have liked every one of this series of quilts and to date the blue has been my favorite, however, then there was Peony Garden and that beat out Blue-can't wait to see a picture of them all together-that would make a terrific postcard-may i order one now? Have a blessed weekend!
Oh, my -- I absolutely love Peony Garden! That is the perfect name for it. Peonies are my absolute favourite flower and this quilt definitely makes me think of them.
Oooh I am loving Zinnia Garden already!
