Today is the day......

Once again the camera has a different idea of how something looks.  I think the shine is the culprit.  This is really a black purse, and according to the label a genuine corde.






My friend and I were trying to decide if this was one of those pouches that women had tied to their belt or waistband to carry things with them.  I don't know what the proper name was for them.


The garage sale starts today and the weather sounds like it will be good until mid afternoon and even cooler tomorrow.

    Cooler today here hopefully the people come out. The bad is similar to a corded bag my Mom had, but hers was a clutch. No handle. She used it for dress. Have fun.Chris

    If I lived near you, I would have "crashed" your garage sale last night to get all the great items I'm sure you have for sale! :) Good luck today, although I doubt you need it. I'll bet you do really well.

    You have worked so long and hard with gathering your treasures for you sale. It looks like an Antique or Vintage Sale to me. I hope collectors come and buys it all. Those pieces need a home of a true collector. Those scarves you showed yesterday and now the purses are unbelievable.

    I see it is going to be warm in Sandwich today also... and we are in the high 90's again and for several days. Go figure ?
