First 3 sections.......

Here are the 3 blocks that make one larger block in the Stepping Stones pattern.  I haven't decided if I will use solid black or a 2 tone black print so there is one piece left to sew on.  I will probably not sew the 3 parts together until I have all of the blocks made since I could still so a little rearranging then. 
I took a day off from the basement and read about half of my library book that needs to be returned by Wednesday.  Also I started a new dishcloth since the tweed one only has about 4 more rows to go.

  2. I love those sharp, sharp peaks on this block. I have looked at this pattern numerous times and have always passed it by for another, maybe one day

  8. THte colors are coming together. I have taken several days off. I am teen sitting my a5 oldest grandsons. I am about to set up the machine and put on headsets!

  9. Beautiful color choices and such nice sharp points. I see what you mean about the different shaped blocks. Good you noticed that now.

    So Sorry about all the flooding around you. Hope that is it. Seems we are having the same thing with today warmer but tomorrow in the 30's again.

  10. This is going to be really spectacular. It is one pattern that makes me think about doing some paper piecing - love those sharp, sharp points!
