My quilts came home from NC with my daughter's family for Thanksgiving. My son in law helped with the hanging to get it level. It's hard to do by myself. We actually hung a different one first but I decided it was too light of a color and changed to this one. I have one ready to quilt that will really hang here when I get it finished. Meanwhile I can enjoy this one.
It was over 60 degrees here yesterday, kind of rare for December. I went out and dumped my last 3 pots and brought in both hose reels. Now I think I'm really ready for winter.
Shhhh... Don't say Winter. It is suppose to be warmer today. Love the quilt. Really looks great on the wall color you chose. Chris
ReplyDeletethe quilt looks beautiful over your couch. I have a top done that's similar. Maybe after the holidays I'll find the time to quilt it! Enjoy the warmth while you have it! We are suppose to hit 70 today!
ReplyDeletethe quilt is beautiful above the couch. 72 here and had the windows open all night! a couple more days of this I think for here
ReplyDeleteFeels good to finish up the outside chores. Yesterday was a lovely day. I like the quilt over the couch. Looks great. Have a great week Wanda.
ReplyDeleteThat quilt looks spectacular above your couch! I know you will enjoy it there. I think that we are getting your weather today, but I must say that I don't mind the warmer air. I am never ready for winter.
ReplyDeleteI love the wall quilt. We will be waiting to see the "replacement" I am sure.
ReplyDeleteThat quilt is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteYour quilt is beautiful and it looks terrific over your sofa! I wish I had wall space to hang quilts, I really love to see them on display.
ReplyDeleteIt's incredibly warm here in Arkansas too, in the 70's all night and had the windows open.
Looks great Wanda - bet it looks even better in person.
ReplyDeleteThe quilt looks lovely ahnging there.
ReplyDeleteNice to have had your family for Thanksgiving..
That looks beautiful. The colors are stunning.
ReplyDeleteThat looks super!!!! I just love the wall color. Good plan. PS It's still Indian summer here in NM...bad for long haul but sure is nice to be out in it!
ReplyDeleteMarvelous "upgrade" with the new paint AND the changed-out quilt!
ReplyDeleteVery nice, indeed!
We are wishing for Winter, here. it is hard to shop for Christmas in 80 degree weather. WE also need a hard freeze to kill the West Nile Mosquitoes!
ReplyDeletePretty Quilt. I have always wanted to do a shaded log cabin
Oh that quilt is so pretty on your new paint color.
ReplyDeleteIt's mild here today too, 6.8 C which I'm not sure of in Fahrenheit but not near 60 s for sure. We'll take it though.
What a great display wall. Love the thought of changing it from time to time. You have so many Master Pieces each needs to be displayed. And this one surely is a grand Master Piece.
ReplyDelete60 degrees it is not winter yet... after december 21st we can expect some winter temps. We too have had usual warm temps for this time of year.

The quilt glows on that wall! Such an inviting room!
ReplyDeleteIt's very mild here too -- I'll take as many of these mild days as we can get.
That looks nice, Wanda. I'm so glad that you're enjoying the fruits of your labors......both painting AND quilting.
ReplyDeleteYes, this weather is something else......I slept with the window open all night last night !
OMG! !
ReplyDeleteIt's so alive ! !
I love it.
Hugs
The quilt is beautiful. It just glows!!
ReplyDeleteLove it. First I have to make a quilt that I do not end up giving away.
ReplyDeleteI don't know Wanda. That one really looks good there. :) If I had all the choices you have of beautiful quilts, I don't think I could make up my mind.
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome quilt!
ReplyDeleteThe quilt looks fantastic in the picture. Too bad our wonderful weather is getting cooler. It was a wonderful day walking around with a light sweater.
ReplyDeleteLove the quilt. We have been having 60 degree days in Northeast AZ. it's been great because we got the concrete in for the foundaion base and they will start laying block tomorrow. So no-snow dances and no-rain dances are being done as we speak. After January, mother nature can send snow and rain to her heart's content.
ReplyDeleteThat looks beautiful in that spot. I love your lamps too!
