I originally thought I would finish this wallhanging for my solo show in North Carolina in June but when I realized how much quilting I needed to put into it, I didn't have the energy to get it done in time. My daughter and I both thought the layout made it look like the glass pieces in a Kaleidoscope so that is what we named it. The binding is done and I just have to sew down the bottom of the hanging sleeve and it will be finished.
Lovely piece!! It does remind me of stained glass; keep us informed about your upcoming surgery--wishing you best of luck and a lil prayer thrown in for good measure
I love the play of light and dark. Great fabric for the binding!
