My company left at 6 a.m. yesterday morning. I did 3 loads of laundry and then started working on more mug rugs. I didn't feel like doing binding so I'll tackle that today.
One of the things I wanted help with was hanging some wall decor on my freshly painted walls. My son in law did the hammering and my daughter and I worked on the arrangement. My daughter made the mosaic mirror frame and she gave me the layered glass art by Pat Mitchell for Mother's Day. The hydrangeas are from a friend's hydrangea tree a year ago. The bouquets usually stay nice for a couple years. They look so much better against the lavender than they did against taupe.

Wow your week sounded as busy as mine. THanksgiving is such a great time to catch up with family and friends. Hope all is well with you my friend and lets all have a great Christmas season.
The hydrangeas really sing against that lavender wall!
Beautiful wall and I love your mug rugs!
It looks good! Yes the hydrangeas do look good against that wall. the mirror is so "Wanda-ful" - your daughter knows your style.
I love the hydrangeas! The flowers are real? And they stay for up to 2 years? What is the secret?
It is a very pretty arrangement against that wall color!
Love all the reds...so vibrant. Great arrangement on those lovely walls.
you are lucky to have a dried arrangement last so long - when we lived in the deserts of Idaho I had dried flowers do that but here in the humidity of Arkansas I never have one last long at all.
The wall looks beautiful.
I would just sit across the room and look at that arrangement for hours and hours. :)
More wonderful RED mug rugs!!
Beautiful art pieces by your daughter and Pat. Everything you place in the lavender room shows that you chose a good wall color.
Delicious picture on Sunday's post. YUM!
LOVED Debbie's colorwash.
The best part about dried hydrangias is that they need no watering....for years. Just traded out a set of my own for a new set from our tree. Happy post-Thanksgiving!
Hope the double vision has cleared up. The mug rugs are great! I didn't have an edible arrangement, but the grocery had pineapples for $1.99 so I cut mine up after having it a week and goodness it is sweet. Don't you just love fresh pineapple? (I am smiling right now!)
That looks so pretty. What wonderful colors!!!
That lavender colour on your wall is the perfect backdrop! The hydrangea bouquet looks beautiful.
I love that wall color--so serene; and the hydrangeas are just perfect against it. P.S. I don't ever feel like doing bindings!!Hope you're feeling better Julierose
I am so taken by your red mug rugs, they just make me smile. As well as your new wall display. And Pat Mitchell's mosaic's remind me of your work only in glass, I can see why you love them.

Very nice wall arrangement. Love the colors and flowers, too!
What a beautiful arrangement! You had some good helpers. I like those mug rugs - my color!
Your new room color looks great with the hydrangeas. Very stylish. I am in love with your red mug rugs. I struggle with how big a mug rug should be. I don't want it to look like a pot holder. The one and only one I ever made, so far, is a square with four 5" pieces of material - room for a coffee mug and three cookies. :)
So pretty! You have given me inspiration!
