I was looking at the fabrics on the top shelves in my main floor studio and I ran across the beginning of this grouping. I added 6 more fabrics to it. I had a migraine most of the day yesterday so I'm not sure if this is a good group or a migraine group.
The porch pots are loving the cooler weather we have had the last few days, nights from 50-60 degrees and daytime highs only in the 70s. I am enjoying it too!
This coleus is taller than the railing. It is the same variety that I have in the pots in front of the garage. I will have to be sure to take cuttings from this one to keep over the winter.
Good group. IMHO.

I love your weather right now, wish you could box some up and send it to Florida. You have very lovely plants growing as well. Maybe when I don't live in the heat and humidity I can get something to grow.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a perfect group to me! Love your plants!
ReplyDeleteThe color group is right on. I hae a migraine this morning so I am a dya late. Chris
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fabrics! I hope your migraine is gone today and I'm enjoying our cool weather too!
ReplyDeleteI think it's a very good group, Wanda. Maybe you need to arrange it differently to see it better.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely LOVE this group...but sorry that a migraine was part of its creation...
ReplyDeleteI love your grouping Wanda - love the mix of reds with pinky fuscias and oranges too - not all matchy matchy. Great! much like this weather! :)
ReplyDeleteThe fabrics are gorgeous together. (If it's a migraine group, pick more fabrics with a migraine!) Hope you feel better soon--I get migraines too--a real bummer!
ReplyDeleteI like that group....of course I am a "mix it up" kind of guy so I want to add maybe a dark teal blue to it.
ReplyDeleteI like the colors but might consider adding something with a different value or color to add contrast. I just have to play with it until something tells me that I have the right mix.
ReplyDeleteMaybe I need a migraine to pull a stash together like that! Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteReally! I'm with Needled Mom. I think it's a good group. Hope you feel better today.
ReplyDeleteYou have some beautiful reds. I notice that I have hardly any reds, I need to purposely buy them sometimes, or I wouldn't have any. I love this grouping, think it is your eye for color working, not the headache.
ReplyDeleteOh Wanda ~ your fabrics in reds are just breath taking. I would not add or change it one bit. They are gorgeous to look at. As your coleus is also ~ it is surprising how those cooler days give such life to our plants.
ReplyDeleteDid your migraine predict the rain you are supposed to be getting now. I see on your "AccuWeather" box it is raining in Sandwich ? Sure hope so I know how you need it. And do hope your migraine has left you by now.

Your red group is stunning. I guess I should have a migraine to pull such beautiful fabrics together. Love your coleus.
ReplyDeleteThat's a fabulous group of fabrics, I think.
ReplyDeleteWe,rer having similar weather and it's wonderful. Hope your migraine is gone and you feel better now.
Not batiks? How about adding a dark turquoise-with-some-red to add a pop to the warm spectrum? Do you have any idea what these will become?
ReplyDeleteHope your head is more cooperative today.
Love all the beautiful purples!
ReplyDeleteWish I had your green thumb!!!
ReplyDeleteI really love that group of fabrics.
