Collage and mug rugs........

I make my collages in Picasa 3 and I can't see any way of choosing which photos will be the large ones.  Maybe it is the size of the photo file.  Some of the smallest cobblestone quilts in this collage are large and the large ones are small.  At least I get to evaluate them all together.  Number one is no longer my favorite.  I know I'll make more of these because I haven't made the perfect one yet; that's what keeps a series going.

I had errands to run, a state photo ID card for travel, bird seed, and Dad's prescriptions.  I did hand sewing on the hanging sleeves on a couple of the wallhangings, and labels sewn down.  I mowed the grass late in the afternoon.
Last night I quilted 6 mug rugs but only got the binding on 3 of them.  These are leftover pieces from this quilt.
I'm going to add the link to my classes at Ciel Gallery in Charlotte NC several times this month since I know not everyone reads my blog every day.  I will only be taking 12 students per class (36 total).   Several people have signed up already.  Here is the blog post where I posted photos from previous classes.

Love the collage of the quilts. But I agree, there should be a way for you to choose what photo goes where. I wish I was in NC, I would certainly take a class from you!

Great collage of your work. I use Picasa, but haven't tried the collage feature yet. From other's comments, looks like they've found the same challenge. Could it possibly see the filenames which order them? If so, renaming the file might rearrange the photos.

I love the collage. Can't decide which is my favorite. I love what you do with the light and darks. It is amazing. Whew. You make me want to take a nap just reading what you do in a day!!

The collage feature is really a neat way to look at all of them together because you really can see the difference in all of them.

It's hard to pick a favorite - perhaps someday you will let us know yours? I still like the black and white bordered one but don't know if that is my favorite one.

I use picasa as well. Just go to the the collage you want to change and hit the edit button...you can then click and drag which photos you want where. I hope that helps.

The collage of your quilts/mug rugs look very pretty. I would have no idea which one I like the best.

The Baltimore Orioles are back along with the woodchuck who has dug a new hole under the old hole that my son cemented in. I guess I will never get him to move his entrance from the front door. LOL

Wanda, I get tired just reading what you accomplish every day. You truly are amazing! The photo collages are a perfect way to record and compare your works in a series. I have enjoyed seeing the various cobblestone quilts.
