I sewed the border blocks into strips to see how much I need to add to them to make them fit. I haven't pressed them yet but it looks like 1/3 of a block will finish the 2 side borders and 2/3 block on the top and bottom. I moved it over to a double design wall and it looks like I put it upside down to the way it was on the single wall. I guess a throw size doesn't really have a top or bottom so it doesn't make any difference.
I cut more pillowcases for the church project (every 2 weeks I need a batch) and quilted 2/3 of one of the crosses quilts. Today is going to be a busy day so I don't know how much I'll get sewn. Hopefully I'll finish the quilting while I watch 3 hours of TV tonight.

I am thoroughly enjoying this quilt come together. It is AWESOME! An explosion of colorful squares. I'm going to say to you what my mother always says to me when I finish a quilt, "You're not going to give this one away toooo, are you?"
I love to watch your quilts come together. I know Kaffe's quilt doesn't have a stop border, but one would look great on this quilt, and could even out the size for border blocks. Either way it is so beautiful. I love color, and you do it so well!

What's the 3 hrs. of tv tonight? If it's Dancing with the Stars, how can you watch and sew at the same time? I will be glued to the DWTS finale, so no sewing for me. Maybe knitting if I work on a project I can knit without looking.

How about adding small inner border, so then you can add 2/3 of a block into the gap. That way you will be able to keep the light/dark placement of the blocks. Hope that makes sense!
