No photo............

I got a call just before noon yesterday that my dad needed to go to the emergency room.  I spent hours at the hospital and came home exhausted.  He has pneumonia even though he had the shot last October.  He has another problem I am more concerned about so I'll be spending more time up there today.

  39. The shot for pnemonia is only for one kind of pnemonia. The very serious one does not have a shot for it. That is the one that Jim Henson (Puppeteer man) died from. Thankfully your father went to the hospital right away and is now on the road to recovery.

  40. When I got pneumonia a year or two after getting the pneumonia vaccination, I was told that it protects only against bacterial pneumonia, not against viral forms.

    Glad your father is doing better at this point.
