I will take another photo with more light on it next time. Some of the stars are dark, but not as dark as they look in this photo. The quilt top is 38.5" x 48.5". I will work on some borders next.
This is my favorite star.
The lime green and blue flowers are all from the same print.
Yay finished! What a gorgeous quilt top it is Wanda!

What a "wandaful" colourful finish. I like the lime green and blue one too.
ReplyDeleteI like all the stars. YULM!
ReplyDeleteThis might be my favorite of all your quilts.
ReplyDeleteJust gorgeous! I agree, I love that first block. But I am drawn to the one right next to it too... the pink!

Love it. I need to get my Go, out, and cut some triangles . Hannah
ReplyDeleteThis one sure is a beauty! I really love it. Great job with every stitch.
ReplyDeleteIt looks great and I love the secondary stars alternated with the corner squares.
ReplyDeleteJust out and out fantastic... great job, Wanda!
ReplyDeleteFun! Fun! Fun!
ReplyDeleteIt's gorgeous, per usual! Love it, love it, love it! You are such an inspiration to me! You are teaching me to stretch my comfort zone of color. I love scrap quilts and you do them so well with modern fabrics that just sparkle.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful stars. Just finished quilting my mystery star block quilt on my regular machine. Hope you have a mid arm to quilt with.
ReplyDeleteLove looking at your progress.
INSPIRATION!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is another "GOOD" one. Can i have it? Just kidding. Wig.
ReplyDeleteIt is a very pretty quilt. I love the way you alternate the friendship stars with the plain corner stones. It really does seem to sparkle.
ReplyDeleteI've got my place closed up again today but there's supposed to be some relief later with a thunderstorm.
And what a FABULOUS quilt top it is indeed! Oh yes, I'm all about stars!
ReplyDeleteSo interesting to see the variations in the center of the stars. More inspiration for us. Does Mr. Kaffe know of all the wondrous ways you use his fabrics? I'm sure he'd be impressed.
ReplyDeleteIf you hadn't mentioned that the green and blue star parts were from the same fabric, I wouldn't have guessed.
Sweet quilt top, Wanda.
Wanda, it's fantabulous! Love it!
ReplyDeleteWonderful, wonderful! Such a beautiful star quilt. It was fun to watch its progress. Thank you for inviting us along on the journey.
ReplyDeleteThat is SO pretty! It's a summertime quilt, for sure.
ReplyDeleteThe star quilt turned out beautiful. I also love the one you do. Today was a no sewing day for me, but there is always tomorrow. Storms woke me up about 3AM but fortunately went right back to sleep. Have a good evening
ReplyDeleteOh wow! Oh my! (Am I getting tedious? LOL)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, as always. Lighter than most I have seen: the starts really pop out on all that white.
ReplyDeleteIt seems like you just started making star blocks a day or two ago. Do you ever sleep? I like the variety of star centers to add interest. I like the fabrics for the same reason. The sashing is adorable too with mini friendship stars alternating with cornerstones. Terrific top!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful sparkling quilt top!
ReplyDeleteI just love this star quilt, the white makes the colors just burst!
