I did meandering with 3 different colors of thread, light at the top and increasingly darker as I got to the bottom. I used the same print for binding that I have on the back and finished the binding by machine, stitching in the ditch on top to catch the folded edge on the back. I actually quilted this last week and have quilted 2 more since then which I'll show when they have their binding on. This one is about 45" wide so it will be a nice lap quilt.
This one is lovely! You are so talented with your colors. I'm partial to the happiness that yellow brings so this one really makes me smile. :) Great job.
Hello Wanda, A whole heap of your quilts are posted on Pinterest for us all to see. In case you didn't know the link is: http://pinterest.com/source/exuberantcolor.blogspot.com/ and they all look wonderful!!! Hugs, Jasmine
Thank you for the inspiration. I'm quilting a blizzard quilt for my sister, very simple piecing and lots of different patterned fabric. I've never used meander all over a scrappy quilt before. I usually do some sort of freehand grid. When I saw your quilt, I knew it wa sideal. I'm halfway through and it looks really good. Thank you.
Nice quilt.
