There were a few Rose Breasted Grosbeaks yesterday morning and one posed for me in a redbud tree. The wind was blowing so the tight pink buds are blurry. Just before I snapped the photo the birds feathers were ruffled in the wind too.
I was happy to get a good bunny photo too. I saw 4 bunnies running through the yard a couple days ago. I usually don't have more than 2 around here.
I spent time picking up branches and breaking a few dead ones off the redbud trees because free brush pick up is this week in my ward. I also finished mowing the grass. Now maybe I can stay inside and play with fabric today.
It is great to see everything coming to life outdoors. I just love that bird!! Happy Sewing today!
ReplyDeleteI love redbud trees - they don't grow particularly well here. Thanks for sharing the photos. I hope you get your wish for sewing today.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely fantastic!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing, I enjoyed the visit. :)
It's still cold in my part of the country (NW Wisconsin) so the trees are just barely budding, but the rose breasted grosbeaks did show up here on Saturday also. I hope they brought a warmer Spring with them!
ReplyDeleteIt is like a breath of spring after your terribly long winter. Lovely!
ReplyDeleteWe saw one RGB this year but he kept hiding behind the tree and I couldn't get a photo! They always show up for a couple of days while the dogwood is in bloom.
ReplyDeleteI love the redbud trees and wish that they bloomed year round. Great pictures of the wild life in your yard. Today is my day for sewing a little. I have a few projects that I can finish today and continue on with others.
ReplyDeleteLove seeing the grosbeak!
