Decision time........

Finally I'm getting back to this one.  You can see I used a combination of 2 of my choices out of all of the ones I tried.
The plain squares are alternating with the smaller bordered squares in all places but one.  I was going to have to make one more of the larger blocks and I thought, no, I'm done with this one.  I put a plain square in place of one of the large pieced squares and now I'm ready to sew it together.  It is only going to be about 42" x 48" so I think some baby is going to get this one.

I had a finishing class yesterday and this last 8 blocks were made for this one and the layout determined.  My art quilters will see this one Monday because it is one from that group that is making it.

  1. What an expressive pattern! I like the irregularities in the overall arrangement. They make me look closer and find a pattern. And I just love the blue quilt. So simple and strong!

  2. I like the design option that you chose! The sashing/background fabric was a great choice and the blend of the piece and plain blocks alternating adds more interest.

  3. I love them both but the class quilt is particularly appealing to me. It stirs something in my memory but I can't quite reach the memory.

  7. Both quilts are beautiful. I like the swirl you ended up with for the top quilt. It was one of my favorites.

  17. Hi Wanda,
Hope you don't hypnotize yourself sewing the black and white swirly print! Lookin good!

The blue quilt layout is attractive. If I don't have that pattern I think I need it!
