The art quilters are coming today so I baked 2 batches of cookies and finished straightening up a couple areas where I had piles of fabric. I played with this little pile of scraps and started piecing 2 blocks, but nothing worth taking a photo of. I have company coming Tues. too, a blogger from FL so I want to make a good first impression. Ha, who am I kidding, there will still be piles everywhere.
I always wonder what the my kids will say after I die about what in the world was I going to use the scraps for. LOL I have bits and pieces everywhere this week. I need some more plastic bags to store more items in. Off to the grocery store soon.
:o)
ReplyDeleteMaybe just she will good impression, if everywhere are piles!
Don't worry about the piles. The old saying is "A Clean Desk is the Sign of a Sick Mind"
ReplyDeleteI'll bet that a blogger who visits you all the way from Florida will enjoy playing in your scrap piles as much as you do!
ReplyDeleteThink of the piles as "inspiration!"
ReplyDeleteI was thinking what Mary said. You're fine! :)
ReplyDeleteIf I came to visit you I would want to see piles everywhere!
ReplyDeletePiles are ours friends....hehe
ReplyDeleteMy neighbor has her stash stored in drawers in her closet so I always wonder what fabrics she has. I want to see stacks of fabrics, even scraps.
ReplyDeleteFabric is festive! I don't think you should worry. At all!
ReplyDeleteKnowing you - those little bits will become something wonderful. I've learned to save my scraps from having been inspired by you creations.
ReplyDeleteI would love to dive into those piles and enjoy the colours and textures. Dont get rid of them - they are a part of you.
ReplyDeleteHave fun. I know your guests will never notice the mess when they see the creativity!
ReplyDeleteOh, I am impressed by your piles of fabric! Tidy? Anybody can do that!
ReplyDeleteThat's what I should be doing! But, I'm reading blogs instead.
ReplyDeleteYou can tell a good quilter by the size of her piles!

ReplyDeleteIf I ever make it up there I want all the piles of fabric/scraps left right where they are. I will want to see where and how you really work. ;-)
