Yesterday was time to wash fabric and cut more pillowcases for the church sewing circle which meets today. I stole enough time to sew this little piece together. I showed the strips a couple weeks ago and there is enough to make 2 placemats. The snow is melting! It got up to the mid 40's yesterday. Now we need a whole week like that.
Love the colors in this one! Bright and cheerful is definitely what we need around here, plus a winter thaw. So glad you got a little thaw yesterday. They say that it is supposed to get warmer here too! Looking forward to it!
Happy Valentine's Day! Your are going to have some beautiful placemats, are those 1 inch squares? Got all the snow off of my deck yesterday and enjoyed our 40 degree weather too.
perfect Valentine Day colors. Our snow is about all melted, I think it will be gone by the end of today except maybe what is in the deepest of the shade. Karen http://karensquilting.com/blog/
That will be one super=pretty placemat! And isn't it wonderful to get back to more bearable temperatures! We got all the way up to 75 today and I'm loving it.
Wash fabrics, Wanda ????? When did you begin with that ? and why ? I`m asking because I always wash everything, and I think I remeber that you once said that you don`t wash your fabrics.
By the way, when I`m leaving a comment: I just love, love, love your work !!!
