This is the second quilt that I going back and adding ditch quilting to. I quilted it on my Jewel machine and knew it needed the patchwork to be outlined. You can see a full shot of this one here.
Today the midarm/longarm group is coming to my house. We usually meet at a fabric store but they are going to check out my stash and sew today. Maybe they can help me decide if the border is right on yesterday's post.
I can see the ditch stitching really adding to this one. I love it. We didn't wake up to snow but it should start soon I bet. It is to snow all day - well look pretty but I am ready for spring. Have fun with your group.

You know I love this quilt and loved watching it go together. Hmmm... looking at your stash would be fun! But you better check their bags on the way out.
ReplyDeleteThis quilt is just beautiful. I know you have seen the machine quilting I usually do, so when it comes to quilting I say more is better! I would like to get a look at your stash! Maybe you better pat down everyone as they leave (ha!ha!). P.S. it was a reflection and not the moon.
ReplyDeleteGood Morning! It feels that way seeing this quilt. I love this one. It's so, so pretty and I love the work you do with the ditch quilting. :) Enjoy your day with the group coming today. How fun to play in your stash.

ReplyDeleteYour quilt is beautiful and ditch quilting will be wonderful. I would love to check out your stash too! It would be like being in a quilt store I'm sure. Have fun today.
ReplyDeleteIt would be a BIG job for me but I know you can get that ditch quilting completed in a day. I agree with you on adding it to this quilt, it will add even more ambiance to the detail.
ReplyDeleteYour stash is your treasure... Wish I was in that group today.
