You can probably tell from that title that yesterday was errand day, not a sewing day. I won't bore you with the list of errands I needed to do. I cut 3 blocks from these 2 fabrics for my ongoing project but only got one sewn. I was down to 4 chapters in the book I was reading so I finished it instead of sewing the other 2.
We are having the most beautiful cool, low humidity weather right now. It feels like fall. We will still get some hot days but this is a pleasant relief from all of the heat.
I am up early to try and do some sewing. The dry weather is suppose to last until Wed. then rain for 6 days straight. Chris

ReplyDeletewonderful block - I know what you mean about a book though - I have been in "reading mode" lately and I think that is one reason I have not made much headway on sewing.
ReplyDeleteThe windows are open this morning here to 64 degrees - I know it won't last long but it will feel nice while they are open. They have not been open since early summer.

Pretty block!!!! One a day is better than no sewing!!! I always love to get errands done so I can enjoy some solid time sewing.

Very nice block. We are getting cooler weather too, even some rain today. But I'm hoping for a nice Sat as I have 50+ people coming for an open house and my house isn't that big!

ReplyDeleteWe're having the same cool weather and, after the sun goes down, it's quite cool. Tomorrow it starts to heat back up -- thankfully.
