I think I found it..........

The search was on for setting triangle fabric.  First I looked through my greens but didn't have a big enough piece of any that I thought would work.  The blue shelf is right above the greens so I started looking there next.  I like this fabric because it isn't too dark or plain.  I'll cut a strip and cut some triangles and try it today.

Yesterday was such a beautiful day I mowed the entire lawn.  Since I just use a push mower I did it in 4 sessions.  I had to wait for the dew in the morning to dry up before I could start.  I mowed the last section last night around 8 and the dew was already forming for the night.

I mixed a batch of peanut butter cookie dough last night to bake this morning early.  I love it when it is cool in the morning.

  1. I think you have the right choice. I got my mower fixed yesterday and did my yard also. Talking about showers today. Plan on canning to oatoes and off to the sewing room. Anxious to see the completed top. Chris

  3. That looks great for a setting triangle in the photo. Of course it may look different in person. I know you will make a good choice.

  4. That is a lovely piece of fabric! It looks great from this side of my computer. I enjoyed the weather yesterday too. It was much cooler and dryer. Today will hopefully be the same.

  7. I think you found it too -- can't wait to see the result!

It's definitely much cooler in the mornings now. There's a real feel of fall coming in the air, although it's still quite warm.

  10. Hi Wanda,
The blue looks like a great choice. I like the dark on the edge and glowy in the center.

  11. That lovely fabric looks perfect for the setting triangles.
We have had some nice almost-spring days, but the lawn is still fairly dormant, thank goodness.
