The toilet in my main level bathroom broke at 11 p.m. Mon. night so first on the schedule yesterday morning was calling a plumber. I had rigged a coat hanger to keep it from running all night. Around noon the plumber got here and it is fixed. Dad was grumpy yesterday morning when I took him for his blood test. After lunch everything was better. I finally cut the 4 corner triangles and the border strips and now this top is finished. I'll pick the backing fabric today and get it sewn together.
I also sewed a scrappy green border on this little quilt top. Now it is the right size to finish for the Alzheimer patients who are receiving IV's.
I hope I can continue to get a lot done this week. I would like to choose the backs for several quilts and get them sewn. Maybe I will get to the quilting soon then too. I'm way behind in my quota of quilting one every week, WAAAAY behind!
Sorry to hear your Dad was a little grumpy for the blood test, but you know that food always makes it better. Your quilt is just gorgeous! I love it and the setting. Well done! I can't wait to see your Chocolate and Caramel completed, it too is a beauty!
What kind of vitamins do you take!?!? You can pack more into a day than anyone I know! The quilts are just beautiful. Wow. Sorry about your toilet...do people ever need plumbers during regular business hours? All those blood tests would make me grumpy too. Love, love, love those quilts...magical.
Love both your quilts, pleased you got the toilet fixed and hope Dad is not too grumpy next time you see him. Do I recall you made some sort of deal about starting new ones and finishing UFO's ????? LOL It's hard to keep on track.

I'm also wondering about your vitamins. How do you do it all? I love the fabric choice for the borders on the quilt though I can't see it closely, the color is nice.
