I feel like myself again..............

The weather has changed, cooler, less humid.  I feel so energetic when it is like this.
I sewed the tesselating blocks together into a top, sewed several strip sets for a twisted rail quilt for the QOV project.  Then I sewed some more of my little bits (2.5" squares) to store in the box with the rest until I decide what the project is.

The whole week is supposed to be like this; good sleeping weather with the windows open, no A/C.

  3. I hand appliqued yesterday while the house was shut up. today I am going out to pull weeds. Slept well with the windows open last night. Keep up the sewing. You deserve a break from all the garage saling you have done.

  4. I am hoping for cooler weather here too. Ha ha, not likely. It has been an abnormally hot June in Alabama. The heat zaps me. C'est la vie!

  5. I had forgotten about your tiny squares that you are making with leftovers. I wonder what they will be - that will be one interesting project when you get going on it. It will actually be cooler here the rest of the week at night but still 90's and humid daytime.

  8. I really like the 2.5" blocks. I can hardly wait for this project. I hope that cooler weather is on its way to NC - we need a break before July and August.

  11. You have been 'racing the clock' for many months...good to hear you have a minute or two for yourself. I too love those lil blocks, they caught my eye at first glance when I opened your blog.

We all love our spring and summer temps IF they are in the mid 70's. Those hot temps just melt us all. We have had 90 the past 4 days and a storm on its way today to cool us off. And back to the 70's again. ☺

  12. Oh, how I love those little squares -- it will be fun to see what you do with them eventually.

We're having the cooler weather too. Great sleeping weather, no question, but it's a bit chilly today. Right now it's only about 65.

  13. I have a quilt I'm quilting sitting right under the needle from where I left it last week, before the weather got so terrible. I think I might need one more day until I get my energy back.

Everything is so green outside tho that it almost makes all those storms worth it. It's all growing like weeds...especially the weeds. *S*
