finally catching up

93 triange squares as they came off the machine in one long string.

Pressed and ready to sew blocks.

9 quilt blocks finished.  I was too tired to put them up on the design wall last night.
I got outside around noon and planted some flowers in the area my friend pulled the weeds out of.  I knew it was supposed to rain in the afternoon and figured it would be a good time to get them in the ground.  I also got 10 minutes of weeding in just before the rain.  We had several waves of storms with strong wind but not a huge amount of rain.  Today is supposed to be hot but less humid.

  2. Waves of rain here was over 2 inches in one day. We had straight line winds of 70mph. The sewing is great, but we had no electricity for over 4 hours. Finally went to bed. Chris

You do wonderful work. I am a Kaffe fan but could
not create anything as nice as your quilts.

  5. Those blocks look mighty pretty! They remind me of fish swimming upstream. :) I just came in from the back yard myself. There's always something to do out there, isn't there?

  6. Love the blue and purple block. The play between the colors is fantastic.

Just hot and very humid here with 'spotty' storms once in awhile but not enough rain to do any good in over a week.

  13. I'm enjoying watching as you put the blocks together. I love Kaffe Kassett patterns but feel like I'm not quite sure what to do with them. I'm learning from watching you. :)
