Oh, I love your violets! When I was a kid I loved to gather some of each and make an arrangement to take to my teacher. They grew all over our farm, and I had my favorite picking places. They don't grow anywhere that I've lived in the Southwest, and every spring I miss them. Thank you for sharing pictures of yours!
My garden is also full of violets. I love them, but I wish they wouldn't come up all over the place! I have had no luck with coral bells. Maybe I should try again this year.
I love violets but I don't like the way you can only smell them once before you nose stops working!

I planted a coral bell in the same shade last year. Am thinking I should buy some more this year. Such an beautiful and unusal color!
